Victor Cadicamo, an FDNY EMT, was arrested and charged with menacing, harassment and criminal possession of a weapon after cops responding to a domestic dispute discovered two pipe bombs and a cache of firearms in his home.

Cops responding to a domestic dispute Thursday between two city EMTs stumbled onto an arsenal of firearms and two pipe bombs hidden in the couple’s Brooklyn home.

FDNY emergency medical technician Victor Cadicamo, 29, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, harassment and menacing after the morning fight with his wife, authorities said.

The NYPD bomb squad removed the explosives from the Brighton Beach house and dismantled them at Rodmans Neck firing range as a precaution. It wasn’t clear if the PVC pipe bombs were live. The weapons were also confiscated.

Cadicamo’s wife, Christina Liskowitz, also a Fire Department EMT, called 911 about 9:10 a.m. and said her husband had threatened her with a gun.

The couple’s 2-year-old child was in the house when the quarrel erupted, cops said.

While searching the house for the gun Cadicamo was accused of threatening his wife with, police came upon his trove of weapons, officials said. Officers found five firearms and a rifle hidden in the living room and bedroom.

After hauling Cadicamo to the 60th Precinct stationhouse for questioning, he admitted to also having two pipe bombs, cops said. The bomb squad found the explosives around 3:30 p.m. Each had a cap on the ends and black cord attached.

The FDNY declined to comment.

Local 2507 EMS union president Israel Miranda said the investigation was in its early stages and cautioned against a rush to judgment.

Liskowitz and her husband Cadicamo are both EMTs.

“If these allegations are proven true, then appropriate actions will be taken, as deemed necessary,” Miranda said.

In addition to the criminal charges he faces, Cadicamo, a six-year veteran EMT, could lose his job or at the very least be suspended without pay.

But Miranda said it was too early in the investigation and hoped the charges didn’t stain the entire department.

“This investigation shouldn’t detract from the hard work the city’s 3,500 EMS members do every day,” he said.

Cops say they found an arsenal of firearms and two pipe bombs.

Yasir Ullah, 34, who lives above the couple’s apartment, said Cadicamo and his wife are constantly fighting.

“We always heard loud voices. In the morning time, they would slam doors,” Ullah said.

He said the couple had what sounded to be a loud argument Wednesday night.

Ullah said Cadicamo boasted of having a firearm.

Cadicamo’s wife, Christina Liskowitz, also a Fire Department EMT, called 911 and said her husband had threatened her.
“He told my father-in-law, ‘I’m in the police (department) and I have a gun in the home.’ We never saw the gun,” Ullah said.

He was shocked at what police found right under his apartment.

“I can’t believe he has a bomb,” Ullah said.

“He is a nice guy. I cannot believe this.”

Wrongfully convicted man who spent 24 years in prison for Brooklyn murder.

Jonathan Fleming spent nearly a quarter century behind bars for a homicide he didn't commit. Brooklyn prosecutors recently found in the original case file evidence that proved he was in Florida when the crime took place.

A well-wisher embraces Jonathan Fleming after his murder conviction was overturned by a Brooklyn state judge and he was released after serving 25 years in prison.

A man who spent nearly 25 years in prison for a Brooklyn murder that took place while he was vacationing in Disney World was set free Tuesday in a highly emotional hearing.

“The day is finally here. I’ve dreamt about it many nights,” Jonathan Fleming said as he walked out of court. “I'm finally a free man.

“I feel wonderful," Fleming said. “I’m going to have dinner with my mother and my family and I’m going to live the rest of my life.”

Evidence that was not disclosed to the defense during his trial — which would have confirmed his alibi for the August 1989 slaying in a Williamsburg project — was unearthed during a review of the case by the Brooklyn district attorney’s office.

That included a phone receipt from an Orlando hotel showing he was there just hours before the murder and a report from local police, which interviewed hotel staff who remembered him.

Both documents were found in the case file.

Jonathan Fleming hugs his mother, Patricia, after New York State Supreme Court Justice Matthew D'Emic overturned his murder conviction — 25 years after he began serving a prison sentence for the crime he didn't commit.

“It could not have possibly been a mistake,” one of Fleming's lawyers, Taylor Koss, said of those non-disclosures by the authorities before and during his client's trial.

The DA’s re-investigation also discovered police reports that confirmed a recanting witness account that cops dropped felony charges against her after she falsely identified Fleming.

A source said prosecutors are aware of a person who’s believed to be the actual killer and may now go after him.

Relatives of Fleming, including his mom and two of his four kids, filled the courtroom and erupted in applause and cries of “Thank you, God” when Justice Matthew D'Emic, Administrative Judge for Brooklyn Supreme Court, officially released him.

“I've waited for this so any years,” mother Patricia Fleming, 72, said through tears after she hugged her son.

I feel like a burden was lifted.”

The woman, who testified at trial about their vacation, was still frustrated.

“An innocent man did all this time,” she said. “I was with him and that’s what hurts so bad.”

Because documentary evidence was withheld, the prosecutor back then was able to convince a jury that Fleming — who had videos and photos from the Disney vacation— could have hopped on one of 53 flights, shoot dead Darryl Rush, 22, take a flight back and then return to Brooklyn again the next day.

“Today’s actions follow a careful and thorough review of this case, and based on key alibi facts that place Fleming in Florida at the time of the murder, I have decided to dismiss all charges against him in the interest of justice,” Brooklyn District Attorney Ken Thompson said in a statement.

Jonathan Fleming’s conviction was overturned Tuesday at a hearing in Brooklyn Supreme Court.

Thompson has inherited a trove of questionable convictions that a revamped Conviction Review Unit is still poring over.

On Tuesday, their work received praise from all sides.

“This is a glorious day,” said Fleming's ex-wife, Valerie Brown, 46, who also testified during the 1990 trial about the Florida trip.

“Somebody heard our cries and today is a new beginning,” she said. “It’s going to be a process but we're a strong family.”

We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.

BMW Will Debut The 9-Series !

BMW will debut a 9-Series concept in Beijing later this month based on the G11 7-Series and Rolls Royce Ghost platform with Gran Lusso styling cues....

Is there room in there for a more expensive BMW? Maybe. Mercedes did fail with Maybach when they tried to take the S-Class too far upscale. Rolls Royce is currently positioned as filling that high end sphere and doing well in that role. BMW is all about variants and squeezing out sales but how the 9-Series will differ exactly from the 7-Series and Rolls Royce Ghost remains to be seen. The one area we do know about is the styling which will be based on the Gran Lusso Concept.

That concept car actually made a bit more sense as it was a coupe and if it were produced would fill the 8-Series gap. BMW does not have a competitor for the new S-Class coupe. If BMW is making a 9-Series though it is a fairly good bet that a new 8-Series will come as well on this same platform.Twin Turbo V12 power from the N74 seems certain. BMW would likely tweak the larger N74B66 for the 9-Series and leave the smaller N74B60 for the 7-Series to create a point of differentiation that is larger than just cosmetics. That would mean the Ghost and the 9-Series would share the 562 horsepower 6.6 liter version of the V12 which no BMW model currently utilizes. > BMW Will Debut The 9-Series ! - Photo posted in Whipz 'n Stereos (vehicles, sound systems) | Sign in and leave a comment below!

Smart Car tipping Hits San Francisco.

> Apr 8 - Smart Car tipping Hits San Francisco - Photo posted in BX Daily Bugle - news and headlines | Sign in and leave a comment below!

How many goofballs does it take to tip over a Smart car?

Andrew Smith sure wants to know. Early Monday morning, just past 1, he heard a loud racket outside his apartment in San Francisco's Bernal Heights, and thought nothing of it. But when a neighbor knocked on his door and told him, you-gotta-see-this: His wife's 2009 Smart Car -- all 1,808 pounds of it -- was sitting on its roof.

"It was pretty hard to believe," Smith said Monday, a victim of an expensive prank that's being compared to an urban-style of cow tipping.

San Francisco was abuzz over the trail of teeny-tiny two-seaters that turned up turned on their sides -- and a fourth propped up on its rear end -- in two sections of the city.

Maybe the Google shuttle buses were just too ginormous. But Smart Cars? Since when did they become the target of disdain and testosterone-fueled craziness?

On Monday, with Twitter blowing up over #smartcartipping and TV news doing side-by-side "Car vs. Cow" comparisons, Smart Car dealers and devotees were in no mood to chuckle.

"I am a retired licensed, clinical social worker," said Kathy May, who eight months ago traded her Honda Accord for the sunny yellow 2009 Smart Car she zips around in on Alameda Island. "But if you turn over my sweet, little car, we will not be talking out your problems. I will go directly for vengeance."

Inside the hushed Smart Car room at the Beshoff Motor Car Dealership in San Jose, a sign near one of the mighty mites brags about its 36 mpg, ability to slide into the slimmest parking spot and how its "race car roll cage ...evenly distributes forces to form a protective barrier."

The manufacturer apparently didn't envision needing protection from human-shoving.

San Francisco police said the tippings were also happening in the Excelsior neighborhood starting about 1 a.m. One witness told KGO TV he saw about eight hoodie-clad men, who appeared to be up to no good, pile out of a van and, in mere moments, grabbed and groaned the cars off their wee wheels, and flipped it on its side.

The pranks against the German cars, first manufactured in the late '90s, will be investigated as acts of felony vandalism. It seems the fad began years ago in Amsterdam where Dutch delinquents routinely deposited the vehicles into canals. The infamous fad also has taken root in Canada.

It's also taking the Smiths' Smart Car to the body shop. The couple spent Monday waiting on insurance adjusters to tell them if their car can be cosmetically repaired, or if it is a total loss.

"That will be pretty upsetting," said Andrew Smith, but later he admitted: "Actually, I thought it was kind of funny. It is just an object. I have lived in San Francisco for 20 years and I am not immune to the insanity that takes place in this city."
