New Meaning To Pot-Belly Pigs...Butcher Feeds Marijuana To Pigs To Create True High-Quality Meat

Marijuana Fed Pigs

This is what they meant by pot-bellied pig!
We're getting high on the hog of BB Ranch butcher William von Schneidau, who feeds marijuana to his pigs and sells them at Seattle's Pike Place Market. SeattleMet reports that Schneidau adds "weed to the feed" -- yes, the stems, stalks and seeds -- to give his meat a more savory flavor.
The "pot pigs" are partly a celebration of Washington voters passing a pot-legalization initiative late last year, MSN reports. But they're also a real culinary experiment. Schneidau says the pot plants add fiber to the pigs' diets, which makes the meat taste delicious, man.
No, you won't get high from the meat. But the pigs get high from the weed, SeattleMet reports:
Apparently, not all mammals can process THC, but most have cannabinoid receptors. Cannabinoids are the other chemicals in marijuana, often linked to the medicinal properties, which help with pain and discomfort. Pigs have these receptors, and the four that ate this enhanced feed gained more weight and likely felt way more mellow than their non-ganja feeding friends.
If you're disappointed that ganja pigs won't produce ganja bacon, do it the Schneidau way. Halfway through a recent tasting, one of his guests rounded up 75 percent of the room and "got baked."

Rihanna is a big fan of Topshop, splurging on clothing at the Oxford Street store and palling around with Topshop heiress Chloe Green. But the relationship might be turning sour, as the New York Post reports that Rihanna is suing the British retailer for $5 million.

According to a "source," Rihanna has been negotiating with Topshop and its parent company, Arcadia Group, over a shirt that uses her image (presumably this one). Topshop claims to have purchased the photo of Rihanna from the photographer, but "they do not pay the artist licensing fees."

And we assume Rihanna would like to benefit from the sale of, well, her own face.

We've reached out to Topshop for comment and will update should we hear back. In the meantime, neither Rihanna nor Topshop have made any mention of the dispute on their Twitter accounts. But it wouldn't be the first time the singer found herself in a legal mess. There was the suit over her Beverly Hills mansion, a settlement with photographer David LaChapelle over "copied" photographs, a 2012 lawsuit against her accountants for mismanaging her finances... you get the picture.

In the song Kelly sang about being in an abusive relationship.

"I was battered, he hit in a window like it was me until it shattered/He pulled me out, he said, 'Don't nobody love you but me, not your mama, not your daddy, and especially not B."

When people started questioning Roy on Twitter he responded by saying, "So Kelly has a new song. Called #DirtyLaundry.. & what ever she's saying in it ppl thinks it's me. #wow #imnottheonlypersonshedated #wasntme."
Roy also identified who the real abuser is, and he pointed the finger at Kelly's ex Cudda or Cudda Love. He was Nelly's former bodyguard when the pair got together over ten years ago while she was working on "Dilemma" with Nelly. > Kelly Rowland's Ex Reveals Identity of Her Abusive Boyfriend - Photo posted in The Hip-Hop Spot | Sign in and leave a comment below!> Kelly Rowland's Ex Reveals Identity of Her Abusive Boyfriend - Photo posted in The Hip-Hop Spot | Sign in and leave a comment below!

D-Wade At The Prom..Honor Prom Fan Request.

Go to prom, of course.

Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade revealed Friday on his Twitter account that he, indeed, had taken up a YouTube prom invitation from Nicole Muxo, a senior at Archbishop Coleman Carroll High School.

Wade said after being called "a perfect date" on the YouTube video that he felt an obligation to follow up, so he did just that Friday night, showing up at the La Jolla Ballroom in Coral Gables and sharing a dance with the senior, meeting her family as well.

Wade posted on Twitter, "I had a blast at Prom" and "Never be 2 scared to ask."

"I was so surprised, I didn't expect it at all," Muxo told WFOR, with television crews in place for the moment.

"She continued to keep going for it," Wade said of Muxo's persistence.

Muxo's actual prom date, Laurent Chaumin, complemented Wade on his prom attire, with Wade joking, "I'm the third wheel."

Wade said Muxo went as far as to direct message him on Twitter with her appeal.

"I'm going to remember it forever," Muxo told WSVN.

Wade then left to resume his knee treatment, with the Heat practicing earlier Friday at AmericanAirlines Arena, but given Saturday off by coach Erik Spoelstra in advance of Wednesday's start of the Eastern Conference finals at AmericanAirlines Arena.

WTVJ reported it wasn't the first time Muxo had attempted to meet Wade at an event, "Back when I met him last year, I asked him to homecoming, but the season was about to start, and he had practice, so he couldn't make it, so I thought, why not take another shot and ask him to prom?"

The irony is if the Heat had lost Wednesday's home game against the Chicago Bulls, a three-point victory that ended with two wayward 3-point attempts by the Bulls, Wade instead would have been playing Friday night in Chicago at the United Center.

Police Beat a Father To Death While He Begs For Help - Then Arrest Witnesses

Police Beat a Father To Death While He Begs For Help - Then Arrest Witnesses and Confiscate Video

5/11/2013 : BAKERSFIELD, CA -- Kern County deputies beat an intoxicated man to death in the street Tuesday night, then detained and intimidated witnesses, confiscated video evidence, and arrested another man who spoke out. David Silva was beaten with batons, left in a pool of blood until an ambulance finally arrived after he was already dead.

A female 9-1-1 caller named Selena told the dispatcher, "There's a man laying on the floor, and your police officers beat the (expletive) out of him and killed him." She said that she witnessed the victim do nothing wrong to cause 8 officers to bludgeon him to death. "These cops had no reason to do this to this man."

A 19-year-old male witness, Ruben Ceballos, was awakened around midnight by screams and loud banging noises outside his home. He said he ran to the left side of his house to find out who was causing the ruckus."When I got outside I saw two officers beating a man with batons and they were hitting his head so every time they would swing, I could hear the blows to his head." He said that Silva was on the ground screaming for help, but officers continued to beat him After several minutes, Silva stopped screaming and was no longer responsive, according to Ceballos.

Another witness, Jason Land, said that he witnessed the beating of David Silva. "They jumped out, reached for their bats, and beat that man until they killed him," he said, "right in front of my face." Land spoke up about what he saw and was arrested as retaliation. The witness was on probation and says police responded to his eyewitness report by claiming he was high on PCP and arrested him without any proof.

Witnesses also say that the victim's body was left to bleed out in the street for a prolonged period without any medical attention, wasting crucial minutes before the ambulance arrived. By that point, it was too late and CPR attempts were futile.

Other witnesses, including Melissa Quair, were harassed and told that they must surrender their cell phones as "evidence." Their houses were even searched as a crime scene in order to confiscate the video evidence.

The victim's brother, Christopher Silva, says his brother was murdered and wants justice. He is demanding that his brother's body be released so that he can see the result of the beating. He wants the confiscated videos to be released. "My brother spent the last eight minutes of his life pleading, begging for his life. The true evidence is in those phone witnesses that apparently the sheriff deputies already took. But I know the truth will come out and my brother's voice will be heard."

The label on the bottle said it contained a common antibiotic, but prosecutors say inside was a drug that's often used to induce abortions.
Remee Jo Lee, 26, was six weeks pregnant when her boyfriend gave her a pill he said was prescribed by his father, a Florida fertility doctor, to treat a bacterial infection, according to court papers.
Lee says she trustingly swallowed the pill, and within hours started bleeding. She went to the hospital, where she had a miscarriage and learned that her boyfriend had tricked her into terminating her pregnancy, her lawyer alleges.
Now the ex-boyfriend, John Andrew Welden, 28, is in county lockup, facing a civil lawsuit and a murder rap.

A federal indictment unsealed Thursday charged Welden with product-tampering and first-degree murder under the Unborn Victims of Violence Act, charges that could carry a life sentence.

The lawyer who represented him at an initial appearance Wednesday did not return a phone call but said in court that the allegations were out of character for his client, according to The Associated Press.
In a civil complaint and statement, Lee's attorney described how an eight-month romance turned toxic when his client became pregnant in February.
Lee "was anticipating motherhood with great joy and excitement," but Welden begged her not to go through with it, lawyer Gil Sanchez said in a press release.
"Everyone dreams of becoming a mom. This was my chance," Lee told told Tampa's WFTS-TV.
In late March, Welden took Lee to his father's Lutz, Fla., clinic for a prenatal examination, including a sonogram and blood and urine samples that confirmed a healthy pregnancy, Lee's lawsuit says.
The next day, Welden told Lee that his father had diagnosed her with an infection and prescribed Amoxicillin, the antibiotic, the suit charges.

In reality, the doctor's son had forged a prescription for Cytotec, an ulcer drug that can be used for non-surgical abortions because it causes contractions, Lee's lawyer said.
"He came to my house with the pills, his weapon of choice," Lee told WFTS.
"He told me to keep taking them. I was supposed to take three a day for days."
Welden later admitted to Lee that he had fooled her, the suit claims. It describes his actions as "outrageous, beyond the bounds of decency and utterly intolerable."
The suit seeks unspecified damages in excess of $15,000.
"We may soon be seeking redress for Lee against others who may have some degree of liability for this heinous act," Sanchez said, without identifying anyone.
Welden, who worked at his father's clinic but was not a doctor, is the only person charged with a crime. Workers at the clinic declined to comment.

Chef Killed Over Bad Noodles

A Japanese star chef was allegedly killed over a meal of noodles that diners claimed was poorly prepared, reports say.

Miki Nozawa, a 57-year-old Japanese chef working in Germany, died on Monday as a result of injuries he purportedly sustained from two disgruntled diners he served at a restaurant on the North Sea island of Sylt, according to the Australian Associated Press. The chef was allegedly attacked by two men who claimed they "didn’t like" the meals he served, the report notes. A dish of fried noodles with beef and vegetables was a point of contention.

Nozawa's unnamed ex-wife told German newspaper Sylter Rundschau that her husband died of "severe brain injuries and internal bleeding" he sustained during a Sunday night altercation.

"My ex-husband was not aggressive, absolutely good-natured man," she said, according to a Huffington Post translation of the report. "He never would have started a fight."

"We have heard that the men wanted to get back their ten euros for the food. We see this as a racist act," she said, claiming that the chef had been called a "chink" while working on the island.

A conflicting report by German tabloid Bild says the two suspects left the restaurant without paying and later ran into the chef as they went into the table dance venue "Z1" and the fight escalated. The suspects are said to have been "intoxicated."

The AAP reports that the two were arrested but then later released due to lack of evidence. They are, however, still being questioned by police.

Nozawa was a celebrity chef who was famous for his Italian-Japanese fusion cuisine, according to Bild. He has served the likes of Mikhail Gorbachev, Denzel Washington and Phil Collins.
